It is considered auspicious to see someone wear Mala beads as they symbolize divinity, commonly worn for meditation but worn for protection and to harness positive energy and power.108 Mala beads and why 108? 108 is the numerical equivalent of "AUM", the most important sound spiritually in meditation.54 beads is a multiple of 108 which are widely used as bracelets.27 Shield against negative energy called (Rudraksha Mala). The specific origin of the mala isunknown, with the use of beads for counting being a widespread practice in ancient cultures. No references to malas occur in Chinese literature before the introduction of Buddhism during the Han dynasty, suggesting that the practice spread from India to China and may have originated there.Bless your Mala beads with The Way UK - Recite the Mantra whilst holding your beads in your right hand and moving your beads with the thumb.#bekindtoyourmind #TheWayUK #Malabeads

#newdaynewchapterOne of the many symbolic meanings of the blue lotus flower is the triumph of the spiritual over the material. Another meaning of the blue lotus flower is wisdom, understanding, and intellect, which are sometimes depicted as a half-opened bud in the artwork. As opposed to the red lotus flower, which symbolizes the purity and selflessness of the heart, the blue lotus blossom typically conceals its inner workings. The unending nature of knowledge is symbolized by the blue lotus flower's unfurling bud. You can always tell an engraving or artwork is of Buddhist origin if it features a blue lotus flower. A Buddha statue in the Yoga pose, perched atop a lotus blossom, is a symbol of spiritual enlightenment and pristineness. The lotus position (legs crossed, back straight, hands on knees) is a common meditation posture in Yoga. The final stage of a Spiritual Journey. In the beginning there is muddy water. All Life is Suffering. But, there is a lotus seed planted. Potential.Under the right conditions the seed will sprout. The right effort and direction is needed. The stem will grow and rise above the water. Experience and wisdom ascends from the normal mundane world. Finally the flower blooms and fills the world with it's fragrance. A new Being enters the world with seemly otherworldly Presence that the ordinary cannot fully comprehend.Cheers!

The dance between darkness and light will forever persist—the stars and moon need the darkness to shine, and darkness is meaningless without them. Krishna stands as a unique figure in our history, reaching the pinnacle of spirituality while embracing joy, laughter, and song. Traditionally, religious individuals are depicted as somber, serious, and defeated by life's battles. However, Krishna defies this image, bringing a vibrant, joyous energy to spirituality.Meditation can take two forms: on the formless God or God with form. Meditating on the formless God is exceptionally challenging, requiring one to erase all sensory experiences and focus solely on the essence of the Inner Self. In this state, Shiva dances in ecstasy, exclaiming, "What am I! What am I!" This practice, known as Shiva yoga, involves gazing at the forehead and embracing the Vedantic method of "Neti, neti," which means "not this, not this," to negate the world and realize one's true nature.

VajrayoginīVajrayoginī is a Tantric Buddhist Buddha and a Dākiṇī. Her essence is "great passion", a transcendent passion that is free from egoism and delusion: it works intensely for the welfare of others and for the destruction of ego-clinging.She is the symbol of altruistic love and radical clarity. For Vajrayogini, this focuses on the transformation from ordinary grasping and clinging, to altruistic, supreme love.Vajrayoginī practice belongs to the Mother Tantra class of Anuttarayoga Tantras, used to free the mind from the confines of habitual reference points. A deep method of Vajrayana meditation, to further open our identity, charging it with the energies of the five wisdoms.#ontogony #ontogonía #carlosdeleon #spritiuality #espiritualidad #personaldevelopment #desarrollopersonal #conciousness #awareness #meditacion #meditation #healing #therapy #terapia #tara #whitetara #tarablanca #budismovajrayana #vajrayanabuddhism #budismotibetano #tibetanbuddhism #freemeditation #groupmeditation #vajrayogini

The 7th Chakra is called Sahasrara (Crown) Chakra. It is located at the top of the head and serves as the crown of the chakra system, symbolizing the highest state of enlightenment and facilitating our spiritual development. In art, Christ is often depicted with a golden light surrounding his head, and the Buddha is shown with a lofty projection on the top of his head. In both cases, these images represent the awakened spirituality of the Sahasrara Chakra. The colour is white, and element thought and this chakra is associated with the mind's highest functions. Even though the mind cannot be seen or felt concretely, it creates the belief systems that control our thoughts and actions. As the mind thinks, so we create our lives. The key characteristic of the crown chakra is the humility that fills you as you bow before Infinity, one of the reasons that so many traditions use the act of bowing to allow the merging with the Universe, the experience of All as One. With humility comes peace and with peace comes Bliss.Excessiveness in this chakra appears as being overly intellectual or feeling yourself to be a member of a spiritual or intellectual elite. Deficient energy manifests as difficulty thinking for yourself, apathy, spiritual scepticism, and materialism. When unbalanced it can manifest as fear of death, grief, doubt, and denial of the spiritual existence. When balanced it can manifest as experience as all as One – Bliss, Samadhi, Unity, enlightenment, relationship with the unknown. Meditation is the best practice to balance this chakra, Mantras, chanting, concentration, and insight practices as well. :)#meditation #yoga #chakras

The logic-obsessed are like those who have never seen the sun in their dream and claim that it doesn’t exist. The psychology-obsessed are like those who argue that people seeing the sun in their dreams should be allowed to dream. But neither considers the possibility that beyond the dream may be a waking world wherein the sun is an objective reality.Gita wisdom expands our consciousness to consider the possibility of non-material reality. And the process of yoga, especially bhakti-yoga, wakes us from the dream level of material reality by giving us spiritual experiences of Krishna. These experiences are so sweet and deep that they render material reality pale and stale in comparison. When we taste such sublime spiritual reality, we stop rejecting or reducing God: rejecting him as illogical or reducing him to a psychological truth. Instead, we use the logical and the psychological, as far as they can go, in pursuing him. That is, we engage the intelligence and the mind in our devotional service to him. The Bhagavad-gita (04.09) indicates that when we understand that Krishna’s activities are transcendental – meaning, in our context, beyond the logical and the psychological – the resulting devotional purification raises our consciousness to the spiritual level, where we unite with him in eternal love

Navratri is a celebration of the spirit or prana which alone can destroy mahishasura (inertia), shumbha-nishumbha (pride and shame) and madhu-kaitabh (extreme forms of craving and aversion). They are completely opposites, yet complementary. Inertia, deeply ingrained negativities and obsessions (raktabeejasura), unreasonable logics (chanda-munda) and blurred vision (dhoomralochan) can be overcome only by raising the level of prana and shakti, the life-force energy. The seeker gets back to the true Source through fasting, prayer, silence and meditation. Night is also called ratri because it brings rejuvenation. It gives relief at the three levels of our existence – physical, subtle and causal. While fasting detoxifies the body, silence purifies the speech and brings rest to the chattering mind, and meditation takes one deep into one’s own being.

Whenever I am feeling anxious or unsettled, I get on the mat and do a Tantric Core practice that focuses on the Third Chakra, the Manipura Chakra region. When we connect to this region of our body and expand our breath into the full circumference, we start to connect to our own inner Light. Then I sit in meditation, dwelling in the center of the torso, steadily. (I often use mantra, but sometimes watching a flame to the point where I become the flame also helps. There are a number of options.) The result - NOTHING can throw me. Not the world's current events, not a challenging relationship issue, not the worry of my bank account - you name it - NOTHING can throw me. This approach leads to a feeling of safety and gentle confidence that dwells within. There is no need for armor, noise, nothing to make me bigger than I am. It's a gentle power radiates outwards, able to help others. Come join me in just a few weeks to learn the tools so that you can take care of yourself in all ways.
